Description

DL-methionine is an essential amino acid that must be supplied in the diet of animals because their bodies are unable to synthesise it on their own. The product is available in powder, crystalline powder or fine flakes, ranging in colour from white to light yellow, with a characteristic taste and odour.

As a key component of feed, DL-methionine plays an important role in metabolic processes, protein synthesis and the proper development of farm animals. It is used in the nutrition of pigs, poultry and cattle to improve growth, health and production efficiency.

Technical aspects

DL-methionine is characterised by high purity (min. 99%) and a stable powder or flake form. It is highly soluble and forms clear solutions with a slightly acidic pH. The product meets the quality requirements for feed additives and is characterised by low heavy metal and ash content.

Application

DL-methionine is widely used in feed for poultry, pigs and cattle, where it supports protein synthesis and optimal animal growth. It is essential for proper development, improved condition and increased production efficiency.

Used in feed mixtures and concentrates as a source of amino acids, DL-methionine improves nutrient utilisation and supports the health of farm animals, contributing to better economic results.

Storage

Store in a cool (5–30°C) and dry place (humidity 20–75%) in tightly closed containers. Protect from moisture.
